Chocolate Ganache Frosting

Chocolate is my favorite thing to eat. No joke. And when I’m baking and I need a filling or frosting this chocolate ganache frosting is my favorite recipe. It’s super easy and very rich. Easy to bake as well!

Here’s how you bake it!


  • 255 g Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • 230 ml heavy cream
  • 1.5 tsp sea salt


  1. Put the chocolate and sea salt into a medium sized bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a medium sized saucepan, heat up the cream until it JUST starts to boil. Remove from the heat and IMMEDIATELY pour onto the chocolate. Leave it without touching it for 5 min. Then take a spoon or spatula and whisk slowly u til it becomes thick and glossy.
  3. Put it into the fridge to thicken, about 1 hour. Then take out and whip it up on high speed using a stand mixer or hand held. Once the ganache has become a thick fluffy frosting, it’s done. Pipe or spread onto whatever you like!
