So one of my sisters favorite fillings to eat is my Salted Caramel Buttercream. It’s great in cakes and Macarons! Loved by all and not very hard to bake either!
Here’s how you make it!
- 115 g unsalted butter, softened
- 150 ml salted caramel – Recipe here!
- 200 g icing sugar
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- In large mixing bowl with paddle attachment, or using a handheld electric mixer, beat the butter and the salted caramel until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla extract and beat until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes. And your all set! Fill or frost whatever you like!
