INGREDIENTS :
- 288g (2 1/4 Cups) Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 3 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 2 Large Eggs
- 118 (1/2 Cup) Vegetable Oil – I used sunflower oil
- 450ml (2 Cups) Milk
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
METHOD :
Preheat your waffle iron, mine is non-stick so no butter needed but if yours isn’t just rub a little on so the batter doesn’t stick.
In a large bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
In a separate medium bowl mix together the eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour the batter onto your hot waffle iron and cook according to manufacturer’s directions – mine basically has a setting for color – so if I set it to brown then the light switches off – roughly 5-7 min.
Serve immediately with butter, syrup, powdered sugar or any other favorite toppings.
Enjoy!
